At Clever Kids  we intertwine the wishes parents have for their children and a child’s inborn need to learn. We do this because we believe there’s no reason why parental wishes need to clash with a child’s primary need to learn. Yet just when children are exposed to the education system, their desire for learning dampens and the hopes of parents get dashed.

As inconceivable as it sounds, our Montessori-certified early learning center knows how to combine these seemingly natural yet often inconsolable desires. But it all depends on your child’s first school of learning. Will it be a place where your child’s personality is appreciated, one that helps them become a unique individual? Or will it be an educational assembly line, one which doesn’t take into account the age-specific features of your child and places the authority of the teacher above all else? Isn’t the latter example strikingly familiar to you?

We’d like to welcome you to Clever Kids – the first and, so far, only child development center in Ukraine where a systemic approach to early learning is taken. Our program doesn’t rely on one-off tasks or exercises that never produce sustained results. Our main emphasis is on the child, that is, their individuality and innate needs, which need to be met step-by-step as they appear. This is why our goal is to make sure the opportunity isn’t lost when a child takes a particular interest in something.

At Clever Kids every child is unique and enjoys the right to their point of view. We don’t turn children into “manageable” and “studious” members of society. Instead we make them free. In keeping with the child’s right to choose, our Montessori practitioners track what interests them. Our child development specialists know that your child is naturally gifted and know exactly how to guide them to do everything independently. Indeed, this is the only way to maintain your child’s naturally prescribed desire to learn. Starting in their infancy we help children discover the world around them and teach them not to be afraid of making mistakes. For without this crucial life molding experience, one cannot learn at full-value. Our early child development center’s environment is geared towards the inquisitive, young mind where the child’s age-specific needs and interests are met, a place where they derive pleasure from their personal discoveries and achievements. And most importantly, here every child enjoys the same rights among both adults and their fellow peers.

So parents, get used to the fact that it will be anything but simple. Not everyone knows how to accept their children as equal partners. But not everyone is fortunate enough to raise a free and independent child. And there’s much for you to learn in the future together with your toddler. We believe in you and in your child’s capabilities. But it’s most important that you believe as well.
