Dear parents,

Lessons in our center are like one big exciting children’s game. And just as any game, there are rules in our child development center. They exist so that during lessons children are made to feel comfortable and safe. Moreover, the rules are in place so that nothing will stop them from making discoveries and come to know the world around them. Therefore, please follow these simple instructions:

1 Self-respect and respect toward others is what we instill in children. We ask that you care for the health of one another. In order to prevent infection contamination, only healthy kids and adults may visit the center.

2 Dress code:

• Children should have footwear that easily comes off during the musical class lesson.
• Clothes shouldn’t hinder the movements of children when they are making learning discoveries. Clothes should be especially loose fitting and comfortable so as to not interfere with the more interesting lessons.  And don’t forget about their changing of clothes since some classes involve tasks using water and paint.
• Even though parents are more careful, you’ll have to put on disposable booties when entering classrooms. This is done to ensure cleanliness in children’s playrooms.

3 Make yourself at home. Be attuned toward your child, look after them and of other children. You’ll learn a lot for yourself and learn more about the distinctive features of your child.

4 Although difficult to do, please learn to refrain from interfering in the actions of your child. You’ve a more difficult task at hand: to encourage their smiles by nodding, by gently stroking, so that they feel your support with every passing minute even during certain failures. You’ll play the strict role of an observer during lessons following the teacher’s instructions.

5 Every lesson is a secret that should be coveted by not talking with other adults present in order to not break the rhythm of the class. If you’re speaking with other child development specialists (psychologist) or with your child, please do so quietly.

6 Brief, urgent questions may be asked during lessons. More detailed consultation with child development specialists may take place after the lessons. Please write down any questions so you don’t forget them.

7 During the lessons you’ll want to feel like a child. Please be careful! Children’s furniture won’t hold you up but you’re welcome to use the stools and large cubes for seating.

8 Please refrain from using your cell phone or shut off the sound function of your mobile phones during lessons.

9 Large purses and bags will hinder lessons and take up a lot of space. Please leave your hand bags in the waiting room.
