Discovery course – It’s time for school…time to enter a new life!

After going through the different levels, the time has come to prepare for school. It’s time to acquire as much diversified knowledge as possible, which will ease the process of learning for the child and expand their horizons. One last step remains. The Discovery course is specially devised for pre-school preparation.

The course’s main task is to wholly develop the child during the preschool period of childhood. Here the child acquires the necessary English speaking skills, learns the technique of proper and quick reading, writing skills, math, knowledge of the world around them, receive an introduction in geography, history, astronomy, economics, and culture.

Lesson structure or what will the child do

The lesson takes place in a Montessori-setting and takes the form of games making the learning process an entertaining and interesting game.

Course discipline, goals and tasks

 Preparing for school

Develop independent working skills, time orientation and spatial positioning, phonetic hearing, continuous speech, notebook use skills, and book use skills.

Speed reading

Develop a visual and photographic memory. Expanding peripheral vision, the child learns to quickly see and read whole words and, in the future, entire phrases and words.

Funny English

Develop conversational speech, the ability to perceive language by hearing, the ability to understand words and engage in English dialogue.

Entertaining studies

The entire course is built on one simple truth: the child should enjoy learning and know how to independently acquire knowledge. This will undoubtedly help them succeed in learning and apply all that they’ve learned in a successful adult life.

Fruit lunch

Fruit cocktail made from a medley of fruits, salads and juices.

In the land of fairy tales – theater

Development of aesthetic taste, creative activity and artistic thinking through story and role playing games, and in-costume musical and theatrical productions.

Musical lessons

Develop an ear for music, vocal abilities and sense of rhythm.

Ethics, mathematics, logic and writing

Acquire practical life skills, development of touch, motor skills, speech, reading and writing skills, mathematical capacity in a specially designed setting and the child’s independent selection of didactic material and time period of work with it. Ready the child’s hand for writing.

Lessons in grace

Proper body posture development, calisthenics, artistic taste via the use of elements of classical, folk and modern dancing, and short dance productions.

Lessons of the brush

Development of the child’s artistic taste, imagination, fantasy, and ability to appreciate paintings and introduction to the works of artists from different eras.
